Michael Jackson Auction Lawsuit

Posted by Late Michael Jackson On October - 9 - 2009 ADD COMMENTS

A man by the name of Richard Lapointe, the plaintiff in the case, is now suing Jackson’s estate and Julien’s Auction House for at least $5 million dollars for stopping an auction where he placed bids on at least 170 items of Michael Jackson memorabilia. Richard Lapointe stated that he is suing for being emotionally damaged and would like to be compensated for it. He also stated that $5 million dollars is what the estimated total value of the items to be auctioned.

Michael Jackson Auction Lawsuit

The lawsuit was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court against the two parties named above. Richard Lapointe claims that he was the only bidder on at least 83 items, therefore the highest bidder when the auction was pulled by the Jackson estate and Julien’s Auction House.
The problem arose when the Jackson estate and Julien’s Auction House had difficulties in negotiations but details have not been made clear on exactly what they were having problems agreeing on.

Julian’s Auction House notified Richard Lapointe on April 11th and April 14th to let him know that he was registered and they have received his bids. The next day, Lapointe receives a letter stating that the auction would be cancelled “despite having bids” on the 170 items. However, Richard Lapointe also agreed with the terms of the auction which stated that “the auction could be canceled at any time”.

We have been told that the items will now be back up for auction on November 21st. If Richard Lapoine really wanted the items that bad, and is so emotionally distraught over not winning the auction, he can bid in November.

Not only has Richard Lapointe filed a lawsuit against Julien’s Auction House, but the Michael Jackson Estate has also filled against them for property that was taken from the Neverland Ranch and not auctioned as they stated. This was to take place back in April, while Michael was still alive.

Do you think this is just another case of someone trying to get rich quick by suing or do you think that Richard Lapointe has a legitimate reason to sue the Auction House?

Out to get Michael Jackson Money!

Once again, someone is stepping forward stating that Michael Jackson owes him money. This time, it is from a former business associate of Michaels that was hired to repair Michael Jackson’s tax problems that he had in 2004. Randy Jackson, Michael’s brother, hired Don Stabler to work with other associates to fix the problem. There was no report of how much money was owed for Michaels 2004 taxes that were due to the IRS.

Don Stabler hired attorney Perry Wander and claims that the Jackson estate owes him approximately $180,000 right before Michael passed away. He also states that he worked on this problem for Michael for about 600 hours and he charges a whopping $325 per hour! Doctors and Lawyers do not make that kind of money, so right away, I can see this will not hold up in court. At least not $325 an hour.

Police to wrap up Jackson Death Investigation

It could take several months or maybe a little over a year for this case to be heard. There are piles of lawsuits going on in the Jackson estate. I am sure we don’t even hear about all of them in the news, but you can bet that anyone that had anything to do with Michael and is evil, will be out trying to get what they can of his money.
We are all aware of the child sex lawsuit that went on years ago with Michael and he was found not guilty. This is just another prime example of people going after the nice guys money. Or is it? Let us know what you think really happened with this case.
The lawsuits agains the pop star do not end here. There is also a lawsuit against him from a Los Angeles Security firm and one of his previous hair stylists. One really has to feel sorry for the family of Michael Jackson for having to endure all of the lawsuits and upcoming hearings. All of the lawsuits against the Jackson estate could take years to resolve and hundreds and possibly millions of dollars, depending on the outcome of the cases.

After all is said and done with all of the lawsuits brought forth to the Jackson estate, we are pretty sure there will be nothing left for anyone else. Not to say that all of the cases against the estate will be won, but after defense lawyer fees, court fees and other costly items, there will not be much left.

Police to wrap up Jackson Death InvestigationPolice to wrap up Jackson Death Investigation

After a long three months of investigation and questioning, the Los Angeles Police Department is ready to wrap up the investigation into the possible murder or homicide of pop star Michael Jackson. This will finally bring closure to his fans, friends and family.

Jackson’s personal physician, Doctor Conrad Murray has been in the spotlight since day one of the investigation and the District Attorney is going to try to prove that Dr. Murray did in fact act in a non-professional manner. The question is, should he be charged?
It seems as if that question shouldn’t even arise, but when you work for a pop star no matter what your position, doctor, hair stylist, janitor, you always want to please your boss. We can pretty much assume, given Michael Jackson’s previous medical history that he wanted the drugs and would go any distance just to get them. Doctor Murray knew if he didn’t provide Michael with the drugs he wanted, when he wanted, he would just find another doctor that could provide these for him. I believe that Doctor Murray tried to talk to Michael and tell him what the drugs would eventually do to him, but Michael wanted them anyway. Just like anyone that has an addiction. If someone doesn’t provide their needed addiction, they will find it elsewhere.

Doctor Murray was not in a good financial situation that would allow him to get fired for not providing him with the appropriate pills.

According to another source, he owes around $71,000 in student loans for med school and almost $370,000 in judgments against his business. This doctor was just doing what he was told so he wouldn’t lose his job. Michael would have found the drugs elsewhere, even if Doctor Murray didn’t provide them.

This isn’t the only trouble for Jackson’s physician, Doctor Murray. He also has been issued a warrant for his arrest for missing a hearing on a child support case. He also has a warrant for owing $13,000 to Nenita Malibiran from California. If this isn’t enough trouble for one person, nothing is.

During this high profile case against Dr. Murray, there will probably not be a preliminary hearing. If they hand down an indictment, it will go immediately to to arraignment and then to trial. However, it seems like it’s going to be really hard to find a jury that can honestly rule against this case. Everyone was effected by the death of Michael Jackson and everyone knew who he was.

So sad. Early Life of Michael JacksonSo sad. Early Life of Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was child number seven out of nine brothers and sisters. He was born August 29, 1958 in the popular Gary, Indiana which is outside of Chicago. His parents were average working class people. Michael’s mother was a Jehovah Witness and his dad, “Joe” Jackson worked in a steel mill and was in a band called “The Falcons”. The Falcons played R&B music and was popular around the Chicago area.

Michael never got along with his father. He has stated in the past that he was mentally and physically abused by Joe during band practices with the Jackson 5. His father would call him names, whip him but Michael said that this in fact made him a better performer and pop star.
Michael showed that he had talent while performing at his school in front of his classmates. He loved to star in the plays at school from kindergarten all the way through high school. Michael and the Jackson 5 began touring as early as 1966 and the tour lasted several years afterwards.

The Jackson 5 shortly after, signed a contract with CBS records and then renamed the band, “The Jacksons”. They began touring all over the world for CBS records and Michael was the lead songwriter. During this time, Michael also stared in musicals along side of Quincy Jones. Jones saw the talent that The Jacksons had and decided to be the producer of the next solo album called “Off the Wall”.

Michael has always had the best music video, most popular dance routines and commercials from some of the biggest companies in the world. One of his most famous music videos was “Thriller”. He most remembered commercial was the Pepsi commercial when Michael Jackson was burned on his head, face and scalp. He received third degree burns and had to undergo rhinoplasty after the incident. Pepsi settled with Michael and was awarded $1.5 million which Michael then donated to the Brotman Medical Center in Culver City, California. This medical center is now called the Michael Jackson Burn Center, in honor of his donation.

Michael has been in the tabloids since his younger years and nothing much changed throughout his career. Many stories started to unfold about the King of Pop when it was reported that he slept in an oxygen bed so that he could slow his aging. He also bought a chimpanzee named “Bubbles” from a laboratory, which many people though to be odd for the King of Pop.

What do you think about Michael’s childhood? Was it normal? Did this cause Michael to die younger than he should have? Did this cause Michael to become addicted to drugs?

Michael Jackson was known for his vocal talent, music videos and dance choreography. Many people never knew how much Michael has given back to the world with donations. Michael is in the Guinness book of world records for a pop star giving to the most charities. The total number of charities was 39 organizations. It is unsure how much Michael has given through sponsorships, working in their silent auctions and giving monetary donations. Michael really has a soft spot when it comes to sick children. He has special rooms equipped just for the terminally ill children that come to the Neverland Ranch.

We all remember the song, “We Are the World” and all of the money that was raised for that song and video was given to the people of Africa back in 1985.

He also supplied 19 hospital rooms with all of the equipment needed at the Mount Senai New York Medical Center. After he was burned during his famous Pepsi commercial, he donated his entire award of $1.5 million to the Brotman Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for burns he received during the making of the commercial. They later called the burn center of that hospital, The Michael Jackson Burn Center for Children.

He later set up the “Michael Jackson United Negro College Fund Endowed Scholarship Fund”. The fund is for black students that will be majoring in communications and performance art. Each year, students can be awarded this money if they are attending a college or university that is a member of UNCF.

After 25 years is Michael Jackson’s secret revealed:

Norweigan dancer Omer Bhatti is the super star’s unknown love child, states the newspaper The Sun last night.

Now he is expected to request a DNA test to find out the truth.

During the memorial two weeks ago a mysterious sad young man in sunglasses in the first line along with Michael Jackson’s family, right next to the sisters Janet and Rebbie.

Today The Sun reveals who he is: Michael Jackson’s unprecedented fourth child, 25-year-old Norwegian dancer Omer Bhatti.

Childhood photographs of Bhatti reveals a striking resemblance to Jackson’s seven-year-old son, Blanket.

Five years ago Michael told to his friends that Omer was born after a temporary connection 1983.

Now believed to Omer like to conduct a DNA test to find out the truth.

Bhattis family in Oslo does not exclude that Jackson is Omer father.

- He was the king of pop. But for us, he was so much more, should Omer’s mom Pia have said, according to The Sun.

According to the Sun, Omer has for many years at times  lived with Jackson at Neverland.

1997 the family Bhatti sold their house in Oslo and moved to Neverland. But later returned to Norway.

A video recording is said to reveal a then 14-year-old Omer tear off the paper from Christmas gifts along with Jackson at the ranch.

He plays also with young children, believed to be Jackson’s second child, as if they were siblings. 2003, he was pictured with Jackson in a limousine during the super star’s birthday celebration.

He was also at Neverland when the police conducted searches in 2003, when Jackson accused of sexual abuse on children.

- It was quite sick. That was the whole strength of the Santa Barbara police. We did not know why they were there. Michael was not home when, he said.

Michael “died” several times

Michael "died" several timesMichael Jackson has been resuscitated three times in the last 18 months.

He lived on borrowed time, “says a former employee.

Michael Jackson had several drug-collapses.

According to a former employee was Jackson nearly died at not less than three occasions in his final 18 months of life.

All times must have been due to a drug overdose.

- I have become increasingly convinced that he lived on borrowed time, “says the source to the Sunday Express.

Destroyed evidence

According to a person close to the family at least five of Jackson’s doctors have provided him with drugs.

And while the king of pop was dying important evidence was destroyed.

Two women from Dr Conrad Murray’s clinic in Texas reported to have moved several boxes from a storage space. Boxes that are now untraceable gone.

The police are also aiming Murray’s assistant after having found the e-mails sent from her computer, writes the Daily Star.

These email is central to the police investigation which has been officially classified as homicide.

One police theory is that a quick cover-up operation was under way.

The son saw everything

At the same time oldest son Prince Michael was forced  to witness Conrad Murray resuscitation attempts, although the star, according to the family, been dead for two hours.

Yesterday, hospital sources confirmed that Jackson was dead when the medic came to his home.

It took ten minutes to understand who it was.

- He looked just like a frail, sick old man, “says a source to TMZ.

They wanted him declared dead on the spot, but Murray insisted that Jackson was taken to hospital.

On the way there none of the nurses was allowed to come in the vicinity of the star in the ambulance.

This week is expected the full autopsy report to be clear.
