Autopsy reports have been released for Michal Jackson by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. At the time of Michael Jackson’s death, he was deemed healthy for a fifty year old man. He weight about 136 pounds which was an acceptable weight for a 5 foot 9 inch man. There was no plaque build up in his arteries and his heart seemed to have been strong at the time of his death. All of the other major internal organs of his body were also healthy.

However, Michael Jackson still had health problems including arthritis in his fingers and lower back and some plaque build up in his lower extremity arteries. The most serious condition that Michael had at the time of death was his lungs. We have all heard that he would sleep in an oxygen bed at night and this would have lead us to believe such problems. In the report, it was stated that his lungs were chronically inflamed and would have caused Michael to have shortness of breath. The lung condition would not have been serious enough to have caused his death.

Doctor Zeev Kain, who works with the University of California of Irvine reviewed the copy of the autopsy report and stated that “the results are within normal limits.” Kain did not take part in the autopsy, but obtained and reported on strictly reading the report. The coroner’s office stated that the cause of death was due to homicide that was caused by “acute propofol intoxication” which means he had more than the suggested dose of propofol in his system.

Michael was not only taking the drug propofol, but he was also taking more drugs that included Demerol, a drug that works the same way Morphine does and two other painkillers, Vicodin and Dilaudid. All of these drugs is often a deadly combination. He was also on other medication for depression and a sedative. Michael often had heartburn and would take Prilosec to ease the disease but would not have caused anything substantial, including death.

The autopsy report also noted that there was bruising to the chest and cracked ribs. This was most likely due to the CPR that was given by Paramedics on the scene in hopes to revive Jackson.
What do you think caused Michael Jackson to die. Was it from natural causes or was it from an outside source?
