Already back in 1971 the group “Americas” made the song “A horse with no name”. Several years later thought superstar Michael Jackson that the song was worth playing again – in another version, stating entertainment site tmz.com.
Michael was given permission by the group’s manager to record the song, despite the similarity with the original. Even “Americas’ current manager, who also worked for Michael Jackson back in the 80’s and 90’s confirms the event.
